Poor indoor air quality shows up as complaints, sick days, odours and sometimes lawsuits. We investigate the cause, not just the symptoms. We measure ventilation indicators like CO₂, temperature and humidity, and test for contaminants such as VOCs, formaldehyde, particulates and mould. We also test for radon, a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is common in parts of Eastern Ontario. Findings come with practical fixes, and we coordinate with building engineers where ventilation changes are needed.

Is radon really a concern in Ottawa?
Radon levels vary from building to building, and parts of the Ottawa area are known for elevated results. The only way to know is to test. Health Canada recommends long-term testing, ideally over at least three months in the heating season.
Can you fix the problem as well as find it?
